Terms of service

Gold and Ginger is located in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. We make every effort to keep a small inventory on hand so that we can ship your order within 3 business days of receipt of payment, however some items are made to order and will take a bit longer to leave our studio. All orders are shipped via Canada Post unless otherwise requested prior to ordering at which point we will send you a quote for shipping via an alternate method or carrier. If a particular item is out of stock and/or will take a little longer to produce and send out we will send you a message right away informing you of the delay.

Small items (ex: pencil cases and make up bags) within Canada are sent via Lettermail (2 - 10 business days, international orders may take longer) without insurance or tracking numbers, unless otherwise specified.

All other items are shipped via the following methods:

-Canadian orders are sent via Expedited Parcel™ (Next Day - 7 business days between major cities). All domestic shipping services include Tracking, Delivery Confirmation, and Coverage against loss or damage for up to $100 CAD.

-United States orders are sent via Small Packet™ USA Air (5-8 business days between major cities). Tracking, Delivery Confirmation, Signature Confirmation, and Coverage are not available.

-International orders are shipped via Small Packet™ International Air (6-10 business days, estimated between major cities). Liability Coverage, Delivery Confirmation, Signature Confirmation are not available.

Once your order has been shipped we will send you notification and a tracking number if applicable. If you would like to request a tracking number or insurance please send us a note prior to ordering and we will create a custom listing for you to reflect the changes in shipping method and/or cost.

The shop currency is currently set to CAD, please note that your credit card may charge you a currency conversion fee which you are responsible for.

At this time tax will only be charged to Canadian customers and differs according to province of residence/billing address and will be calculated at checkout.

We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages once they leave our studio. Any customs fees, duties and/or taxes are to be paid by the purchaser.
